Quality Rim Tape

Hefty and durable in apperance, this is a quality cotton rim tape that performs as expected and not a single flat in over 500 miles of riding. The 17mm was a bit wide for my double-wall 700c road rims (the 13mm would have been a better choice) which had some overlap on to the inner rim walls but has not caused any issues other than making it a bit harder to place the tire back on the rim.

This rim tape is very durable. I have used this tape for years and have never had any problems with it comming loose or loosing its adhesiveness. I like that this rim tape comes in a variety of widths. Over all, this tape is awesome. I received this product on time. The vendor was easy to deal with.

Buy Velox!

The Zefal tape shifted and gave me a series of flats because the adhesive didn't hold. I commute to work so this was a big liability. I wound up buying velox tape and the Ritchey rim strips to put over the velox cloth tape and I'm not having any problems. I had to put a new tire on the rear wheel and I inspected the strip/tape combo and it looked like I it did when I installed it. Bottom line, buy Velox!
